Jena uses a meditation-based process that allows impulse and intuition to lead the way when painting, before any analysis or logic-based questions can interrupt the creative process. She is deeply inspired by movement imagery and uses it as a tool to strike a balance between color and form in her paintings. In 2023, Jena started working with a new medium: stained glass.
